Leather can be combined with an array of materials
The art and the technique of installation
The tiles can be installed in any room of a household, except kitchens and shower areas. They are also a great option for office spaces.
The durability and easy maintenance also makes it ideal for commercial spaces and heavy traffic areas.
Leather tiles can also be applied to: walls, columns, staircases, panels, doors, and in general on to any type of surfaces.
Combined with other materials
Leather tiles can be installed wall to wall or in limited spaces, combined with other materials such as polished cement, wood, marble, ceramic, flat stone, metal, glass and carpet, and many others.
Installing leather tile floors and surfaces is very easy. It is similar to the one used for vinyl floors. In general, the tiles are placed directly on to a smooth and leveled surface such as cement, or hard wood.
If applied to a cement surface, it must be perfectly smooth and previously treated with Mastik (a special putty). Due to the softness of leather any debris left underneath will be very noticeable.
